Bernice “Bonnie” Robertson was a giving woman, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Bernice Robertson Born in Charleston, Mississippi on December 12, 1947, from Ethel Mae Barnes and George Robertson who both preceded her in death. Bernice accepted the Lord at an early age and is survived by her loving sister and best friend Viola, her niece Kenya, great niece Alazae, great nephew Kendall, great-great nephew Tylar Jr. In her early years, after moving to the West side of Chicago with her family,(which included her older sister, Georgia who preceded her in death), she later graduated from Crane high school and shortly after went on to work as a key punch operator in corporate world. She then married Ralph Noble in the 1980’s. After retiring, and moving with her close knit family, including her nephew (Tyrone, who preceded her in death), she enjoyed being at home, watching her favorite sport teams and news stations. The independent, yet quiet soul, had a giving personality and took pride in remembering all of her family and friends birthdays as well as stepping in to assist those closest to her when needed. And let’s not forget, she loved spending time in the kitchen. Her battles with serious medical issues throughout the years showed her courage in facing life and generational challenges and solidified her resiliency.
