LaTonya Marshia O'Neal Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

LaTonya Marshia O’Neal 33 was called to a sweet place of peace on Sept. 24, 2011, Saturday morning at 5:46 am. LaTonya Marshia O’Neal was born on November 14, 1977 to the parents of LaCheryl O’Neal (mother) and Ebbon Jordan (father). In just a few years Jerome Wallace became the father she known in life. LaTonya suddenly came down with an illness Arthritis at a very young age. Which cause a lot of pain for both her and her momma. LaTonya had to have a lot of surgeries where she spent countless of night in the hospital with her momma by her side. As a result in that she developed a strong desire to read. LaTonya would read over 10 books in a week. After her reading came her writing skills. Despite her disabilities in life she excelled in school, letting nothing stop her. LaTonya gave her life to the Lord at the age of 5 under the leadership of Prophetess LaCheryl O’Neal at International Faith Worldwide Ministries. Prophetess LaCheryl knowing her talents she started pushing LaTonya into writing plays for the church. So every forth Sunday everyone in service sat back and enjoy a life changing play from her. She survived by her mother LaCheryl O’Neal, her father Jerome Wallace and her biological father Ebbon Jordan. At the age of 29, LaTonya and Reginald conceived an intelligent son Reginald O’Neal Griffin Jr and a year later they have a beautiful girl Amaya LaCheryl Griffin. Two sisters Cherome and Tamika O’Neal, a bother Jerrell McaFee, grandmother Yvonne O’Neal and a niece DaMya Murchison. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. LaTonya is preceded in death by 3 grandparents Ceorla and Leon McaFee, James O’Neal and her daughter Amari Griffin in death. LaTonya also had special people in her life John Polk, LaShon Anderson, Dwight Douglas, Vicky Williams, Lizette Holman, Sealina Moore and Davona Payne.
