Priscilla Echols-Hych was born July 19,1959, in Chicago, IL. Her mother, Earlene Echols, preceeded her in death, along with her two brothers and sister: Freddie Davis, Mack Echols, and Charlene Echols. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Gregory Hych, and siblings: Barbara Jean McKnight, Elaine Echols, Dorethie Baker, Mona Echols-Clough (Keith Clough), Mary Echols (Mary Stubbs), and Earl Echols. She is also survived by her long time sister-friend, Carol Corbin, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Priscilla was an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in the field of addictions as a Senior Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, and consultant. She was also a gifted writer and author who published six books, including her acclaimed collection of poems, Emotions of My Heart. which was featured in the Chicago Defender for Valentine’s Day in 1997.
